Navigating the journey of life with its transitions and uncertainties can be challenging. Making the decision to come to counseling is a brave step and one that I believe can be helpful for all of us. Counseling can be an oasis in the midst of a stressful, busy life, to focus on unpacking and processing the things that are getting in the way of living your best life. Through the therapeutic process, in a space free of judgment or bias, we can work together to open avenues to unblock and help you identify your unique strengths, values, and aspirations, and help to develop your ability to find healing and fulfillment.
I work from a client-centered orientation in which I strive to create a safe and supportive environment in which we can explore your strengths as well as your pain and brokenness. I believe in an integrated approach to counseling, creating a safe place to explore and grow in the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of life. My goal is to encourage you and walk with you as you strive to reach your personal goals.
I am a licensed professional counselor who is passionate about helping people find a sense of balance and purpose in their lives. I strive to provide a warm, compassionate and empathetic space for you to heal and grow. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families, adolescent through adult. If you are interested in integrating faith into counseling, I also specialize in Christian counseling where we can explore spiritual beliefs and questions together from a shared Christ-centered worldview.
I am experienced in working with clients in adolescence and young adulthood, through middle and late adulthood. I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Huntington University. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University and a Master’s Degree in
Teaching (Elementary Education) from National Louis University.
I am honored to be a part of your journey toward healing and wholeness.
