As a therapist, I believe healing begins with safety, connection, and understanding. My passion lies in creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can be true to your authentic self, explore your story, process emotions, and uncover your innate resilience. Your journey, challenges, and strengths are uniquely yours—they shape who you are. Therapy is about building a trusting relationship rooted in your values and experiences, at a pace that feels right for you. This belief comes from my personal experience as a client navigating difficult life experiences, which showed me the profound impact that therapy can have.
I specialize in supporting children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and complex trauma. I take a holistic approach, exploring the connection between mind, body, and spirit to foster healing, growth, and self-awareness. I am continually inspired by the resilience I witness in my clients, which reinforces my belief in the power of hope and change, even in the face of adversity.
My background includes working at a community agency, where I had the privilege of supporting children, foster families, at-risk teens, adults, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including the LGBTQIA+ community.
I provide child-centered play therapy (CCPT) for children (ages 5-12) to support self-regulation, self-esteem, increased worldview, and an emotional vocabulary. For teens and adults, I incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for emotional regulation and mindfulness, and Brainspotting to process trauma. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s collaborative, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they uncover strengths they may not have realized they had.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity International University. I am a Certified Play Therapy Professional and am currently pursuing certification in Brainspotting. At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to support you with empathy, curiosity, and effective tools as you navigate your personal journey.
I commend you for taking this first step toward self-care. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you on your path to healing and growth.
