I believe that every single person can benefit from counseling. It doesn’t mean that anything is wrong with you! You take your pet, car, eyes, and kids in for regular checkups, why not your emotions too?
My counseling style is to meet my clients where they are at. This means that we will take a look at your life currently and where you would like to be. Then we’ll work together to make short-term and long-term goals. During our sessions, we will be exploring some of the roots of your challenges and how to make changes so that you can achieve your goals. I come from a very holistic standpoint, and I believe that working on your mind, body and spirit is very important, as they are all interconnected. As a Christian counselor, I offer my clients the opportunity to pursue long-lasting change through the power of Christ. I also believe that purely talking is therapeutic, so much of our time together will be allowing you to talk and tell your story. Using forms of art, music, and self expression are also essential pieces to my counseling practice. Our sessions will be centered around the avenues that you wish to pursue. You will be given homework to work on during the days in between our session. This allows you to continuously focus on the changes that you wish to make, and will also reinforce the work that we do in your session. More than anything, I want to help you realize your potential and the ability to accomplish the goals that you set for yourself.

Testimonials
Jessica has been amazing! I was able to be open with her from the start and by the time I had my first session with her it felt like I had already known her. I was hesitant with the idea of therapy, but she has made me appreciate it.
I found Jessica originally because she specializes in ‘ infant loss’ and we had just lost our baby at 6 months pregnant. Fast forward 2 years later and I am still religiously being guided and counseled by Jessica because of her instant ability to connect, tell me what I need to hear to make progress- all with a sense of compassion. I like her because she takes great interest in me and genuinely invests in my well being.
Jessica is absolutely amazing. She did everything to help me get better and feel better. I owe my new found happiness to her. Thank you very much.
