I believe the foundation of effective counseling is a strong, trusting relationship. My goal is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue meaningful growth. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and shaped by the needs, values, and goals of each person I work with.
I believe lasting healing comes from addressing the whole person—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. As a Christian counselor, I offer clients the opportunity to integrate their faith into the counseling process, while also drawing from evidence-based practices to meet each person where they are.
My background includes over 13 years of professional experience in an educational setting, where I supported individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities—including diagnoses such as Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My work focused on helping clients build emotional regulation skills, navigate social relationships, and develop practical strategies for managing everyday stressors. I also have experience in a community service agency, where I work with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds as they face a range of concerns, including family stress, trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges.
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and pursued my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine to become a therapist. I’m passionate about coming alongside children, teens, and adults who are seeking clarity, connection, and growth. Whether you’re facing anxiety, navigating a life transition, or simply need a space to process, I would be honored to walk that journey with you.
